Calais Supermarkets

Calais has an impressive clutch of supermarkets. You will find one practically one on every street corner and as such all tend to offer competitive prices on their food, grocery and wine products. On this page we list Carrefour (this one is a hypermarket, but not as big as its big sister at Cite Europe), Intermarche, Aldi, Lidl, Ed, Simply, Match and Champion supermarkets in Calais. Be sure to have a 1 euro coin handy as you will need this if you want to use a trolly.

If you have a strong shopping bag to carry back your goodies take it with you as there is a trend among the French supermarkets to stop giving out plastic shopping bags. Visa cedit cards are widely accepted.

Getting there: From the ferry, get onto the A26 and exit at junction 3 followin signs to Centre Ville. From Eurotunnel, get onto the A16, then take the A16 intersection and exit at junction 3.

Getting there: From the ferry, get onto the A26 and exit at junction 2. From Eurotunnel get onto the A16 heading towards Calais, then take A26 and exit at junction 2.
